The Department of Business Administration (Patras) of TEIWEST is a member of the training providers registry, offering skill building sessions for teachers in terms of digital infrastructure and modern web tools within school practices. In this framework, two 36-h training programmes will be designed and offered to end-users within the premises of TEIWEST, so that:
  • they become familiar with the features, the operation and the ways of effective use of interactive teaching models,
  • they are able to work with educational platforms and repositories
  • they understand the potential of digital technologies at school and monitor on safe web techniques.
The training will be online and project-oriented. The trainees are school teachers from the regional unit of Achaia and TEIWEST will provide both the scientific expertise and the infrastructure as a Training Support Center conducting regular educational cycles for ICT use at school.
TEIWEST expect a total of 72 hours of training for more than 30 teachers in the regional unit of Achaia. The fact that TEIWEST is a permanent member of the training providers registry ensures the repetitive character of the programmes.
