The Engineering Industries Association of Lithuania LINPRA aims to tackle the skills gaps among metalworkers who will work in the factories of the future. This will be achieved by improving Vocational Education and Training (VET) to help specialists acquire the skills that are pivotal for the sector to embrace the Industry 4.0. LINPRA will develop vocational and digital competencies for trainees and VET trainers in the metalworking sector, with the development of a new set of occupational standards, a new VET programme and educational material that matches the skills requirements of the manufacturing industry.
