Liberty Global strongly believes in the transformative power of the internet and the liberating power of technology. This is why it aims to develop and support initiatives that fuel people’s imagination and empower them to bring positive change in their communities, whilst developing digital skills. Liberty Global's flagship program, Digital Imagination, is a collective movement to create digital solutions that respond to pressing societal challenges. The main components include: 

  • Future Makers: creating exciting ways to learn the skills needed to thrive in the digital economy and create a positive social impact.
  • Original Thinkers: Supporting and investing in innovators and entrepreneurs to use digital to inspire social change.
  • Collective solutions: bringing people together to take part in using digital to solve the most pressing issues facing society.

Additionally to these main initiatives Liberty Global understands that it has a responsibility to protect children online. That is why it will continue to support initiatives like Safer Internet Day and invest in educational materials which provide young people, parents and teachers with the skills they need to stay safe online.
