International Open Academy

International Open Academy is a leader in online learning. We are accredited by the International Council for Online Educational Standards (icoes.org), and our online courses and exams are accessible to students all over the world - from any digital device. We’ve helped over 350,000 students from 139 countries upgrade their job training, launch new careers, and discover exciting new passions.

Qualitative Impact

On an individual level, we provide our students with the necessary skills to navigate the digital world - in every aspect. On a wider scale, we deliberately choose course topics to meet and address European job market needs, either as vocational topics or skill-based learning, so that our graduates can satisfy employers’ demands. We see this occurring in two different streams; as digital based professions, and as traditional professions that are evolving with technology.

International Open Academy has a direct impact on the digital job market. We teach technology related courses and offer career training in Bookkeeping, HR & Payroll Management, Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, and other careers that require technical knowledge and strong computer skills. Most of our career courses include technical training in software, programmes and digital tools that will be required in the field.

We also impact the job market by addressing the modern technology needs in traditional professions. Our vocational training programmes for even non-digital professions include some technology components, to teach a new generation of professionals how to keep up with the evolution of their roles. For example, we teach “soft” technology skills in our event planning courses, so students can learn how to use software and computer tools, build a website, leverage social media, etc.

Because our training is easily accessible, affordable, and encourages students to learn at their own pace, we are providing educational resources to individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to learn these skills and trades. In all of these ways, we are making a positive impact on the European digital job market, on our students and their career goals, and in our broader communities.
