InterMediaKT
InterMediaKT, already a member of Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition, focuses on activities that promote programming, digital skills, e-learning and the use of the web. InterMediaKT pledges to:
 
  • Organise programming trainings for students, targeted specifically on girls and vulnerable groups. based on the Junior Coding Academy project material/methodology which was recently completed with success. In addition, InterMediaKT will organize open training events during EU Codeweek initiative every October starting with October 2018.
  • Train 75-150 people in ICT tools for Social Entrepeneurship, through the promotion of the existing e-learning platforms which InterMediaKT has co-created and new series of activities targeted to potential social entrepreneurs.
  • Organise information seminars about safe internet use for 30-50 parents and teachers, annually on Safer Internet Day, starting on February 2019.
  • Offer volunteering services to 10 local social enterprises. 
  • Train 30-50 teachers and professionals working with autism on digital and innovative tools, in collaboration with a public educational institute.

InterMediaKT

InterMediaKT (Interactive Media Knowledge Transfer) is a NGO based in Patras, Greece, working as a broker for education, training and innovation. InterMediaKT aims at supporting, inspiring and empowering actions of evolving business and entrepreneurship.

Qualitative Impact

All the participants to InterMediaKT training activities are going to receive training and knowledge from experts in the field, have a
chance to work with other people in groups and learn first- hand about the importance of digital skills today.

> 1200 students have been reached via face to face courses in their schools from their teachers and our volunteers during the extension/second round of Junior Coding Academy project that is running till the end of May 2018 (initial aim: 750 students).

> 20 people have been trained about ICT tools for Social Entrepeneurship during a workshop that took place as a part of re-Startup initiative of the Patras University and POS4Work

> 5 people have been trained on web development during "Cafe Gefyres" social initiative.
