Google - Grow with Google

Google - Grow with Google
Google pledges to help 1 million Europeans to find a job or grow their business by 2020 as a part of its ongoing initiative Grow with Google. We will help job seekers and knowledge seekers to get the skills they need to apply for new digital roles, and help businesses to get more customers, increase revenue or take on more staff thanks to new digital skills and opportunities learned through our training programs. We will do this through the continued training of Europeans in digital skills, through both online and in person training, with programs in place across all 28 Member States. We will measure the impact on jobs and business growth through an independent research study providing trainees the opportunity to tell us the impact digital skills has had for them.
The new pledge builds on Google’s ongoing commitment to the EU Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition and our initial 2015 commitment to train 1 million Europeans in digital skills. As a result of overwhelming demand, we have now trained three million Europeans, and over two million in Africa, in digital skills, tripling the initial goal.
