The Department of Computer Sciences, University of Alcalá pledges to offer open tools and training to guide IT professionals and beginners towards the best employability in the ICT profession through the most relevant competence framework, e-Competence Framework (e-CF EN16234), and the new labor classification ESCO. We offer free access to our integrated system eSkills Match until the end of September 2017 where any user may self-evaluate according to e-competences discovering gaps to reach the ideal profile for specific ICT occupations an, then get a recommendation of MOOC and OER to fill such gaps. Moreover, users may create their own online CV with a portfolio of evidence mapped to e-competences and a timeline. Recruiters may use the platform to find talent mapped to an ICT profile described with e- competences. Access is granted up to 350 participants. It is complemented with a set of free courses aligned with 6 e-CF competences available for 120 participants.
 
The courses to be offered are focused on e-CF Competences. One first set of 6 competences (until Dec.17)

Qualitative Impact

Participants will have the opportunity of using an integrated solution combining self-evaluation, training recommendation and online CV aligned to e-CF and ESCO. They are also eligible for a set of free courses speficically designed to cover a set of 6 e-CF competences.
