Cross Border Talents Academy aims to apply a “Just-in-Time Digital Skills” method and train candidates, based on companies’ needs. Potential candidates are selected by companies looking to hire professionals with digital skills. Candidates are then offered online IT courses with the guarantee of a job opportunity waiting for them if they finish course successfully. Training courses are targeted at low-skilled workers, which are then upskilled into medium-to-high skills programmers. In early 2017 CBT Academy has been piloted in Portugal and France with a group of 144 candidates. With SME Instrument Phase 2 project CBT will deploy the Academy in Germany and Portugal.
Cross Border Talents aims to establish cooperations with more companies in order to further increase the impact of its method.
