BQ Education

BQ education is developing 24 teaching units to help teachers introducing programming and robotics in their classrooms through the Mak3rs project. These teaching units are aimed for High School. They use the following technologies:

  • Arduino based kits.
  • Scratch
  • Bitbloq

The teaching units are free for teachers (with creative commons license). All the resources in the unirs are explained. Furthermore, BQ education provides a complete set of open access training courses that can complement teachers formation ( in Spanish).These is a joing work with the Spanish NGO Ayuda en Acción and contents are oriented to develop in kids a sensibility through social aspects and inmigration, gender differences and equality, fair Trade, etc.

The company is present in over 40 countries worldwide with its 3D printers, and throughout Europe with its multimedia devices. It is a market-leading brand in Spain for e-readers, Android tablets and unlocked smartphones.
