BeCode pledges to train 2 600 adults into digital professions by 2020. The 6-month full-time training, powered by, is fully free of charge for the participants and prior knowledge is not required. We don't care about their past, only about their future: we select solely based on motivation and eagerness to enter into a long term web develop adventure. The applied learning methodology is especially suitable for those who dropped out of traditional education before! The inclusive approach has proven to be an excellent bridge between the currently unemployed (for whatever reason) and the job market, where employers are looking for 12.000 digital skilled employees right now and this will only increase in the coming years. Starting with 100 pupils in 2017, BeCode will gear up to 1.500 trainees per year across at least 10 cities in Belgium by 2020.

BeCode is a Belgian coding school, powered by a methodology with a proven track record. BeCode has developed an intensive 6-month coding school program, which allows participants to learn web and mobile development and turn that into a profession.

Qualitative Impact

Through the inclusive approach and applied learning methodology, we wish to provide an alternative to traditional education and train highly motivated people from all ages and backgrounds into a new digital work force. We aim for 80% employment rate of our graduates within 6 months of graduating - a target proven feasible in France by our partner
