European Digital SME Alliance

European Digital SME Alliance is pledging to reach 5000 people by 2019 with its #digitalSMEs4skills campaign. The campaign will enroll hundreds of digital SMEs, such as software developers and tech integrators, which will transfer digital skills to people by offering them internships.

European Schoolnet

European Schoolnet will train 15 000 teachers in innovative teaching and pedagogical use of technology between 2016 and 2020 through European Schoolnet Academy.

Facility Live

FacilityLive is pledging to make its initiative Coding4Kids, a private coding session for 4th grade students, an all year round initiative. FacilityLive will organize a Coding4Kids event every month in order to give all 4th grade students of the city of Pavia (500 kids) the possibility to learn how to code.

Fondazione per la Scuola della Compagnia di San Paolo

Fondazione per la Scuola (FpS) is pledging to run its newest and largest project, ‘Riconessioni’, based around the development of infrastructure and services in the Piedmont region to build the first and largest urban school connectivity system in Italy.

Gezinsbond - Flemish League of Families

The Gezinsbond pledges to provide by the end of 2017 120 ‘’online safety’’ training sessions for at least 3,000 Belgian parents, aimed to develop their skills in understanding and responding to the risks of online activities their children get involved in.

Giffoni Innovation Hub

Giffoni Innovation Hub is pledging to offer digital skills practical training to 600 Italian and Swedish students aged 18-28 by the end of 2020 to increase their employability. The Hub will also organise 4 educational workshops per year addressed to 40 teachers and 600 students of primary and secondary schools.

GMIT Mayo Campus

As part of the All Aboard 2017 national initiative to build confidence in digital skills for Learning, the GMIT Mayo Campus is offering a range of events for the general public, primary, secondary schools and local businesses.

Google

Google is pledging to continue to support European to gain digital skills through the following initiatives: Digital Workshop (online training hub); engaging young job seekers; helping small businesses to grow; funding 10,000 Android scholarships via Udacity and in partnership with Bertelsmann for EU mobile developers.

Hellenic Professionals Informatics Society (HePIS)

ΗePIS will partner with multinational companies, SMEs, organizations and philanthropic foundations to develop programs and initiatives that will help young people acquire basic, intermediate and advanced computer and coding skills.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise & CoderDojo

HPE and Codedojo are collectively committed to deliver 10 CoderDojos events and 2000 training hours in Italy in 2017, engaging 500 kids.
